Which cup is the correct size for me?

You can wear either size of the cups; it all depends on your flow amount and cervix height during menstruation. The size 1 is recommended for users with normal flow and the size 2 is recommended for people with heavy flow.

How long can I keep the cup inside my body?

You can keep your cup inserted up to 12 hours and also overnight, just make sure to empty it at least 2-3 per 24 hours. You are able to swim, play sports, travel and sleep while using your cup. There is no need to remove it to urinate or have a bowel movement.

How do I know my cup has been positioned correctly?

In order to make sure the cup is completely sealed against the vaginal walls you can try rotating it freely. You should not feel it at all.

Can my cup get stuck or lost inside of me?

No. It is not possible for it to get lost inside of you. We recommend you try removing your cup before 12 hours just in case it takes a little longer for you to remove or in the rare event you need medical assistance.

Can I use my Aria Cup if I am allergic to latex?

Yes. Aria Cup is latex-free. It is made of 100% biocompatible and medical grade silicone.

Can I use my cup if I have an IUD?

Yes, you can successfully use your cup if you also have an IUD. We do advise that you talk to your doctor prior to using your cup as there can be a displacement of your IUD if the cup is not used correctly.

Is there a risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) with the Aria Cup?

Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) is a very rare disease, especially with menstrual cups, however if you suddenly experience a rash, fever or flu-like symptoms while you are using your cup, remove it as a precaution and immediately consult your doctor or hospital.

How many times can I reuse my cup?

You can use your cup for 10+years with proper use and care. You might notice discoloration over time but it is safe to use as long as there is no damage.

How should I clean my cup?

You should boil your cup before each period and rinse with clean water every time you empty your cup.

How should I store my Aria Cup?

Once the cup has been cleaned you should store it in its case or cotton bag. Make sure you keep it in a safe, dry place until its next use. Doing so will ensure the longest possible duration of your cup.
